Hallie and I decided to walk the bike path this year by walking from our house all the way to the path and then to town. It was about a 3 mile walk down. We spent some time at the bridge over the Slate River where the little kids and dogs like to splash around before going on into town for lunch. We stood at Rainbow Park and saw a paraglider land nearby. We ate lunch at McGills and had an ice cream cone at The Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory for dessert. I spent some time on the front porch when we got home, trying to get pictures of the hummingbirds frequenting my feeder so I could identify them.
