Hallie and I went to our ladies bible study this morning and then went to Sunflower Deli in town to pick up a sandwich for a picnic. We drove out to Lake Irwin and ate our picnic lunch by the lake. We stayed in the car and rolled down the windows and had the nicest breeze! After lunch we walked on the Spillway Falls trail. This trail is a favorite of Hallie's because she loves the 3 waterfalls. We came to the conclusion that we shouldn't walk on a full stomach because our bodies felt like they weighed 300 lbs! Hallie got a little sick toward the end of the walk but we managed to stay on the trail for an hour. The flowers weren't very good on this trail, but the waterfalls were beautiful. There was a lot less water this year in comparison to last year.
