My friends Sheron Lensing, Susan Barron, and Cathy Brown braved the long drive and came to visit me for a few days. Despite rainy afternoons, we found plenty to keep us busy. One of our favorite things we did was to go horseback riding with Fantasy Ranch up Gothic Mountain. We had a 1/5 hour trail ride on horses that were hand selected for us. Susan rode Butters, Sheron rode Irwin, Cathy rode Eve, who had a passion for snacking, and I rode Flash. The weather was beautiful in the morning and the scenery was gorgeous! We wanted to hike on the Woods Walk trail, but we got rained out.
