Hallie and I decided to take another stab at the Brush Creek trail and see if the water had slowed down so we could cross. We waited until the afternoon which was not a good idea. It was hot and showers started to pop up all around us. It turns out that there was more water than a couple of weeks ago and despite Hallie's pleading to try and cross, we turned around and went back. We also noticed that the flowers are not as bold and beautiful as they were a couple of weeks ago.
