The water that stopped us

On our way back home, we pass this view every time. It's Paradise Valley and one of my favorite views.
Hallie and I took an early morning walk to Brush Creek which was unbelievably full of flowers! Hallie got a little tired of hearing me comment on how beautiful the flowers were, but they were really gorgeous. Lots of purple and gold! We were stopped on our walk by water rushing over the road from snow runoff up high. It wasn't very deep, but was moving quickly enough that if we slipped, we would slide right off the mountain to the valley below. We are hoping that another trip might find less water so we can cross.
